Timeline for the ITN Process

February 27-28, 2018 MCLS Meeting: The Working Groups and FALSC liaisons are tasked with reviewing previous ITN and refining system specifications.
April 20, 2018 Working Groups complete the revisions of the Requirements Document (Appendix A) of the existing ITN
May 3, 2018 All changes/additions to the ITN are compiled into one revised document and shared with the Implementation Team
May 15-16, 2018 MCLS Meeting: FALSC shares revised ITN with the Members Council where they decide to have the Executive Committee sign off on the final review of the draft ITN
June 20, 2018 Approval of the Executive Committee to move forward with the revised, draft ITN
July 5, 2018 MCLS Meeting: MCLS approves the structure of the ITN Evaluation Team (1 SUS Dean, 1 FCS Director, 3 SUS representatives, 3 FCS representatives, 2 FALSC staff) and Reviewers to provide guidance and insight during the process
Oct. 17, 2018 Executive Committee selects the members of the ITN Evaluation Team from a pool of qualified candidates

May 7, 2019 Evaluation Team final scoring and recommendation of one or more vendors to negotiate (FLVC-Gainesville)
July 2019 Initial negotiations documents sent to vendor

March 10, 2020 Contract for the Next Gen Integrated Library System will be awarded to Ex Libris for the Alma ILS and Primo VE discovery service
