Aleph v. 23 Upgrade: New Features and Functionality

This guide will provide training for the new features and functionality that comes with the upgrade to v. 23.

HTML in Email

*UPDATE 11/30/2018 Currently this option is unavailable. It turns out that this new feature is a global option that can be turned on for all the universities or all the colleges or both but cannot be easily brought up institution by institution like I initially thought. I will bring this issue up at the next RSSC meeting.

The HTML Body Only option has been added to the Mail Attachment drop down list in the Global Patron Details section of the patron record. You can request that this option be made for all emails sent to patrons no matter what is in the patron record by contacting the help desk. Selecting the new option (or requesting it be made default for all patrons) causes email to be sent with formatted HTML inside the body of the email instead of just plain text.
