There is a new batch service called ‘Delete Lost Paid Loans’ (cir-84) that will delete loans that are lost and have been paid (either Paid or Transferred to AR) out of a patron’s record and change the IPS of the item to MI (Missing) or MS (Lost) to be determined by library staff. This service will also produce a report of the affected items. This service could be helpful for institutions that do not allow patrons to receive a refund for billed items if they are returned.
