Welcome to the Circulation Guide! We hope this LibGuide will be a resource where you can find the answers to your Circulation questions and information about new and old services.
There are many behind the scenes tables that work together to get ALEPH to implement your institution's circulation policies. "The Basics - Circulation Tables" will explain where to look for these tables and how to read them so that you can have a better understanding of how your library is set up and hopefully allow you to make informed decisions.
This will not be an exhaustive list of tables that affect circulation policies so if you have additional questions about how something works or why something happens the way it does please send all questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is a new service implemented in October 2019 that allows patrons making local hold requests to add a note to staff. Read about how to implement it (you may have to get with your local Mango administrator).
The Remote Registration function to verify Reciprocal Borrower status used to only be available to colleges to verify other college patrons, but no more! All 40 colleges and universities can now use this easy process to verify patrons from all 40 institutions! Check it out!
